by Rosa Lee Klaneski (Author)
What happens when money-hungry pharma executive David Evans gets handed a new research chemical with the potential to be a game-changer? He meets brilliant and twisted Josh Grenier, founder of an online church protecting altered consciousness from government intrusion. Tracing David's descent from upper-class suburbia, he compromises his morality to keep his work on the new compound dubbed "5,6,7" a secret. Enter shady pawnbroker Mike Mazzone, a man protected behind a fence of loopholes to justify dealing with criminals, drug addicts, and stolen goods. Add a tranny shoplifter, a nosy blogger, and a crooked DEA agent, 5,6,7 explores poker, Biblical themes, ethics, and the undeciphered language of Easter Island called Rongorongo. From start to finish, this story pulls the reader through a world of characters whose indirect connections are not fully realized until its unforgettable conclusion. THIS BOOK CONTAINS MATURE CONTENT INCLUDING EXPLICIT LANGUAGE, DEPICTIONS OF DRUG USE, AND A SCENE OF EROTICA. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS TITLE IF YOU FIND SUCH CONTENT OFFENSIVE.
