Author Biography
D.C. Shaftoe is a Speech-Language Pathologist who primarily works with children with autism and their families. On those days, she spends her time running, playing trains, and sitting in kiddie chairs. In 2010, as Shaftoe's children reached a new level of independence, she began to write. Her first book was well received, and she has been writing ever since. Shaftoe writes what has been described as a unique blend of thriller, suspense, and romance. She does not shy away from trauma and real-life scenarios though she values a happy ending. Shaftoe's books appeal to those looking for a clear Christian message as well as those seeking hope in a dark world. I hope you'll enjoy reading Forged in the Jungles of Burma, Assassin's Trap, Reckless Association, Enemy by Association, Imperfect (also published as Lethal Intentions), and the latest offering, Coffee, Kamloops, and Copper Mine.
