The author spent ten years working on commercial fishing boats out of Dutch Harbor, Alaska.
Author Biography
Owen B. Scott was was raised in the Hudson Valley of New York, as the oldest of three boys. His parents were Bill and Joan Scott, and were writers and artists, always encouraging their children to find their own way through whatever creative means were available. Owen left the East Coast in 1987 and moved to Seattle, WA. He spent 10 years working on large commercial fishing vessels in Alaska, and he has also worked as a stonemason's apprentice, framing carpenter, and is on his fifteenth year working in Information Technology. He lives with his wife and four children in Southern California.
