Author Biography

Michael J. Livolsi, a former singer/songwriter, was born in Brooklyn, New York, in 1945. He spent his early years in San Diego, California, and moonlighted for several years as a singer in nightclubs. For the last thirty-seven years, he has lived in Arizona. Michael earned certifications in Human Resource Management and Business Management at Arizona State College of Business while working for a major aerospace corporation. During his tenure in aerospace, he held various positions including an eighteen year stint in Human Resource Management and ten years in Sales which provided him the opportunity to travel to several countries around the globe. Married for forty-seven years and a proud grandfather, Michael is now retired. His interests include music, exercise and enjoying quality time with his four children and eight grandchildren. Michael has always loved to tell stories and others have loved to listen. Being a writer of fiction since his retirement has brought him great joy and excitement, especially when the late hours of work writing are rewarded with the memorable endings to his novels. Michael has written three novels. His first novel "Hidden Purpose" is a captivating thriller-love story. His second novel a wonderful romantic fantasy of adventure and the third novel "The Braided Locket" a romantic mystery that shares some of the author's real life personal experiences has motivated him to press on and continue writing the many stories that are still evolving in his mind.
