Follow the exciting life of a bold Israeli commander and a community of kibbutz families living under his protection in Israel's Negev Desert in 2045, three years before Israel's centennial, as an Islamic civil war explodes out of Egypt. When the war intensifies, Commander Ari Alexander and his community must risk their lives to stay in southern Israel and defend the kibbutz or escape with other Zionists moving to Israel's newly expanded northern border in defiance of a One World Government court order. Commander Ari, running on adrenalin and instincts, usually figures a way out of anything. But this time . . . This action adventure thriller, filled with historical references, brings the ancient past into the near future while uniquely offering both Israeli and American points of view to the challenges of living in a time of crisis.
