by Daryl Andre Funn (Author)

Misery found Company and somehow Love got in the way, is the simplest way to put it. Mistafunn delivers a fascinating, timeless, heart twisting piece of literature in this follow up to "The Dae the Sun Wouldn't Rise". New cast characters some of the old faces tying somethings together. It should be no surprise that mistafunn continues to engage the reader with more than the typical love triangle. To bring you deep into his world there are footnoted delicious recipes and a deeply sensitive music playlist that accompany your journey. Chris and Miz walk that fine line of lifelong friends and nothing more. She is with someone. He just found someone. What happens when secrets and real emotions are revealed. Whose side do you pick? The only tragedy here is you will never see then end coming (and you won't get it until you read the entire story).

Author Biography

When asked to describe himself using one word, awesometaculanificent was Daryl Funn's answer. I'm sure those of you-while trying to sound this out phonetically-are probably asking yourselves, "What in the world is that"? It is the fusing of three words-awesome, spectacular, and magnificent-into one. If you know Daryl, then, this should come as no surprise. For those of you who don't, well, let's just say he has a large (and sometimes bizarre) imagination. He's "amazingly creative" with a mind's eye not only good for inventing wacky eight syllable words, but also designing websites, t-shirts, peculiar cartoon characters, and his own card game. He writes and performs his own poems and songs as well, and coaches the Java Monkey poetry slam team in Decatur, Ga. He's a chef too, a husband a father, and writes books with tricky titles like this one, "Misery Loves Company." Six years in the making and it is finally finished! It speaks the "truth" about relationships, providing us with a positive look at the Black male figure. But don't be fooled. This isn't just any ole book about relationships. It's an experience, literally. While we get caught up in a love triangle and the journey of three friends trying to figure things out, we are provided with several opportunities to be "in the moment." Open your minds and fasten your seatbelts because we're in for a hell of a ride with unexpected twists and turns and a lot of Daryl's fun and awesometaculansificent personality sprinkled in-between.
