Welcome to primeval Urth, a world of savagery, populated by deadly beasts and deadlier annaru-feral lizardmen devoted to the bloodthirsty god, Kor. Into this world comes Dayn, a young man seeking his destiny. Armed only with his wits, a rusty sword and the orishadai locked within his raging soul, he'll search for it. When he and his companions unleash something deep within the steaming jungle, something buried long ago and better left forgotten, Dayn cannot begin to imagine what, or who, it will cost him. Before he can set things right, he will not only learn the true meaning of sacrifice, but discover what destiny has in store for him and the one he loves most.
Author Biography
Brandon R.J. Bowling, author of Orishadaon: to the Ends of the Urth, was born in Fredericton, Newbrunswick and lived there for a few years before moving to Sarnia, Ontario. From there his family moved to Corunna, where he has lived ever since, though in his younger years he continued to spend his summers in Newbrunswick. When he isn't writing about dinosaurs, zombies, apocalyptic wastelands or people with bizarre psychic powers, his time is divided between his girlfriend, Alicia, son, Zane, and his three conures, Spartacus, Wembley and Roxton. He also enjoys playing Magic the Gathering, a good game of Warhammer 40K (go Tyranids!) and watching plenty of films. His favorites include Jurassic Park, Aliens and Akira. He also spends a lot of time reading; fantasy and science fiction mostly, along with older role playing game manuals (Dark Sun and lots of GURPS sourcebooks) and the occasional bit of historical fiction. His other passions include birds and ancient history.
