Author Biography

Duchess MacKinnon is a writer and an avid photographer. She likes to joke that she is in the unique position to not only shoot people (with a camera) but write about it. She discovered writing when she was in the 5th grade and has been unable to stop ever since. Her first book, The Endless Night, was published in 2013. Additionally, she is an occasional contributor to gigspotting.net and is working on her first screenplay. She currently resides in the Charlotte, NC area with her two cats. Duchess MacKinnon is the nom de plume for Catherine Hester.
